This was a group project; our challenge was to design a stool to be made out of steel bars and one other material of our choice, then to build and sell them.

We all created sketches to brainstorm ideas, and we ended up used one of my sketches as a jumping off point for prototyping, because we liked the arched shape of the metal bars, and the sturdiness using many bars would provide.
